In 2023 BAM’s colorful Tianjin 4A Sports Park won the Architizer A+ Jury Award in the Architecture + Learning category along with several other international accolades. What’s more, BAM’s innovative water feature, the Play & Learn Water Mountain got featured in the “World’s Best Architecture” book published annually by Architizer.
In response to technological advancements and social and political turmoil globally, this book edition’s theme – Architecture in The Age of Change – elevates those designs that adapt to the changing conditions and transform society and the built environment for generations to come. Indeed, the projects featured in this year’s book uniquely respond to imminent global challenges such as climate change, urbanization and migration, rising inequity, and the transformative impact of the technological progress.
Half of the projects included in the book, along with Tianjin 4A Sports Park, came out on top with the prestigious A+Awards jury, made up of more than 400 luminaries from fields as diverse as construction, fashion, publishing, product design, real-estate development and technology. The other half secured the Popular Choice Award, like BAM’s Daxing Park and MAHA Residential Park in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
