The Harvard Graduate School of Design is currently offering a Spring 2025 course by BAM co-founder Jake Walker. The course, Disciplinary Elasticity and Alternative Practice, is inspired by the Walker’s experience in building a global design studio. As opposed to defining architecture as a professional guild which fences the traditional role of an architect, the course explores case studies of architects who have built companies and careers in the remote outskirts of what might be viewed as architectural practice.
